Khaled Jarrar

Khaled Jarrar is a Palestinian artist who during his graduate studies at University of Arizona needed a safe outdoor space for the purpose of his visual explorations and artistic trainings. At The Island In Tucson we collaborated with him and offered him shelter and assistance during his numerous visits. All the pictures in this page were taken during the training sessions. The final result of this process has been a performance titled I'm Good At Shooting, Bad At Painting that was organized by the MOCA Tucson in the desert near Tucson on May 2018.
