Expecting Nothing is Going to Change is a land artwork which is dedicated to existing no longer than its natural durability.
Human beings denial for finiteness leads us to believing that things could be permanent. We spend a tremendous energy everyday building, preserving, conserving, and freezing in time things with the futile hope to challenge impermanency that rules the whole universe.
Expecting Nothing is Going to Change shall consist of 8’x16’ billboard made with untreated wood esthetically located in a sublime landscape. On the billboard and on site will be painted in an impressionist manner the view the billboard is hiding by its presence. No intend will be made to preserve the installation, and its decay until full erosion will be documented over time.
